Good morning!

Super motivated today! Realtor coming Saturday so I have to get this house in shape! I worked on the basement all day yesterday, trying to make it into another living space. It has a fireplace down there it just needs some TLC!

I got up this morning and made homemade banana bread, and did the dishes and switched the laundry. Feeling very accomplished. :) ♥

Welcome to the first installment of "I-need-to-go-to-the-store-what-can-i-come-up-with-for-lunch-that-is-halfway-decent"

Lunch today was a peanut butter on banana bread sandwich, an apple, yogurt with grape nuts, and leftover pasta salad. No pictures of it today, I didn't realize I didn't have my memory card in my camera when i took it. :( It is in a Hello Kitty bento box.

hey!

Hi everyone!!! I'm Jessica, I am a married mom of 2 and we live in Kansas CIty, MO. My daughter started kindergarten this year and I have made it my goal to pack her lunch every day. The school food around here is sodium-filled and a parent's worst nutritional nightmare! So it is my mission to make a healthy, tasty, and FUN lunch every day!!!

Mariah is my kindergartener. She is the best little girl anyone could ask for! She loves to read and she LOVES to cheer! Between school, chores, homework and cheer or tumbling almost every night she is a busy kid! Taking the time to pack her lunch every morning is just one little way I can show her how much i love her. Aiden is my big boy 2 year old! He is a rough and tumble little guy who is full into his terrible twos right now! His favorite letter is H and his favorite color is "bah-loo!" I also watch my niece Silvia and my baby nephew Carson, so don't be suprised if they show up on here occasionally!

I get to do something fun today, be a guest blogger on my friend Tabithas blog!

. It is actually what prompted me to re-start this blog, maybe some of you can use my ideas and give me some of your own!

Lunch today was a quesa-pizza on a flat out stone ground wheat wrap, kiwi and peaches shaped into a flower, salad with a flower tomato and some cheese and crunchy toppings for her salad. I also threw in there a Jello cup and a water bottle filled with Shatto organic chocolate milk (not shown). Photobucket

Her first day of school lunch was watermelon and kiwi, and peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a boiled egg in the shape of a bunny, baby goldfish and a mini cupcake and yogurt raisins and a juice box.
